Design, engineering, QA and growth in one in-house team.

Capsol Technologies is a digital product studio with teams in Hyderabad and Dubai. Four disciplines sit on one bench, so taking a product from early concept to a market-ready launch needs one partner rather than four — and nothing waits at a handover between companies that have never met.

02Capability structure

One partner, or four vendors and a coordination problem.

The usual arrangement is a design agency, a development shop, a testing vendor and a marketing agency. Every gap between them is a place where a fortnight goes missing and nobody is accountable for it.

Four disciplines, one payroll. A product does not move between a design agency, a development shop, a testing vendor and a marketing agency, and it does not lose a fortnight at each handover while four companies agree on what was actually agreed.

Quality is a standing function here rather than a task shared among developers, with both manual and automation testing in-house, and engineering includes a dedicated database and data-architecture specialist. Studios that subcontract their testing have neither. Both are invisible in a pitch and decisive in month six.

Design
  • Product design
  • UX strategy
  • User flows
  • Design systems
  • Brand and visual design

Interface decisions are made by the people who will maintain them, so a design system survives past the first release.

Engineering
  • Full stack web
  • Angular and React frontend
  • Cross-platform mobile, Android and iOS
  • Database and data architecture

Web, mobile and data sit on the same team, so a feature does not stall at the seam between a frontend vendor and a backend one.

Quality
  • Manual QA
  • Automation QA

QA is a standing function with its own people, not a task developers squeeze in on the last afternoon before a release.

Growth
  • SEO and performance marketing
  • Social content and campaign execution
  • App Store Optimisation
  • Conversion rate optimisation

The people who have to acquire users are in the room while the product is still being shaped, not handed a finished app.

04How an engagement works

Written scope, short cycles, QA inside the cycle.

The process is the part of this site worth reading carefully. It is where a studio either has specifics or does not.

  1. 01

    How an engagement is shaped

Before anything is agreed, we work out whether this is a project, a phase, or a standing team.

  2. 02

    What week one looks like

The opening phase is deliberately unglamorous. Nothing is designed in it.

  3. 03

    The cycle

Short iterations, each ending in something you can look at rather than a status update.

  4. 04

    Where QA enters

Inside the cycle, with its own people. Not a phase before launch.

  5. 05

    Handover, and what you own

You own the work. All of it, and from the start.

Written case studies are still to come. The work is real; the write-ups are not finished, and we would rather show you the clients than pad the page with detail we have not checked with them first. Ask on a call and we will walk you through any of it.

Alongside that, the evidence on this site is the specific kind: how we work, and craft you can inspect directly. This site’s own design system — tokens, type scale, contrast ratios, the lot — is published at /design-system, and is a fair sample of what a component library we hand over looks like.
